Maximum number of drives in Starter project

Hi Guys,

Is there a maximum number of drives that can be accepted in a starter project?

I am using Starter V5.6.0.1

I have 13 drives on a Profinet network, when I view accessible nodes, all 13 drives are present, I can see their PN names & I.P. adresses & firmware versions.

I can accept them all into my project ok. BUT when I 'go online' 3 of the drives I cannot connect to!

Someone said on this forum that 

Depend on the SW Packages which are installed the amount how many devices can be connected at the same time varies from 10 to >64.

 Is this true? If so, how/what SW package do I need to install to be able to work with more that 10 drives?

I installed Simatic NET v18, but then my Starter v5.6.0.1. would not communicate via ethernet or even via USB! When I click on 'accessible device' starter did not even try to search!

I have uninstalled Simatic NET v18.

Should I install an older version?
