Zub04 Bronze Member Joined: 7/15/2009 Last visit: 8/29/2024 Posts: 41 Rating: (1)	Dear experts, I´m thinking about application ofS7-1200 with PTO outputs for control servomotor and I saw to manualsbut I´m not sure if is itpossible change velocity of current motion which was started fromblocks "MC_MoveRelative" or "MC_MoveAbsolute" or"MC_MoveJog" ? Is it possible change when it is running ? Thanks a lot

Some tests were done, the velocity test you said was made, I changed the velocity when the motor was running, so It's possible to change the velocity of current motion which was started fromblocks "MC_MoveRelative" or "MC_MoveAbsolute" or"MC_MoveJog" even when it's running. (everything with s7-1200) Best regards,

I mean that you start the Execute only once and after change only velocity. Is possible set velocity to zero and pause motion of axis this way ? Thank you very much

Mr.Kataoka Posts: 10 Rating: (5)	Hello!! Using the MC_MoveVelocity block you have to change the velocity and start the command with a positive edge. If you change the velocity a positive edge must be given. It's possible to set velocity to zero this way. Best regards,

Zub04 Bronze Member Joined: 7/15/2009 Last visit: 8/29/2024 Posts: 41 Rating: (1)	Yes, tha main idea is that I will start a "relative" or "absolute" motion block with "Execute" command and after during motion to target positionI will be changing a current velocity only with change a variable velocity without any "execute" command else. I don´t know if change of velocity is apllied immediately or after "execute" command. I would like to realize aoverride function for axis.

primus 1 Posts: 45 Rating: (4)	Hello I am not sure what you are attempting, but it is possible to set the velocity asMr.Kataokaposted. It takes a little programming but you do needto excute the task again. But in doing so when I expermented with stepper motors, when a postive edge was applied while using the MC_MoveRelative command, in motion the target position changed from where the postive edge was plus the target value. The MC_MoveAbsolute had no problems. The change was a ramp down for me. I did not try as Robster said as I am still using 10.5. Hope this helps. Have A Good Day Tom
