F22 Micromaster 440

tony moody Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	I have a 1.5KW 440 feeding two .37KW motors. I get a sporadic F22 on this drive. I have increased ramp times. It does not have a braking resistor. I have also checked connections and checked for an earth fault as the fault list says if it is a permanent fault. Does anyone have any info they know of that could help me further isolate the problem with this drive?

Make shure the do not switch during the inverter runs. What are the motors driving? Are the motors mecanical coupled?

tony moody Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	What is U/F? The motors have a gearbox and the gearbox is direct coupled through a lovejoy coupling to a conveyor belt. There is no contactor betweeen drive and motors.

Put 27 in P5 and then watch P0 (show output current). Do you have one gearbox with two motors or one gearbox for each motor?

tony moody Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	What do you recommend setting P1300 to? This is a nonwoven textile application so would you go with 5 or 6? Do I need to change P1340,P1341,P1345,P1346andP1350 as well? The motors have their own gearbox (2 gearboxes). The current looks fine, not overloaded. Thanks

This is a nonwoven textile application so would you go with 5 or 6? Do I need to change P1340,P1341,P1345,P1346andP1350 as well? The 5 or 6 im P1300is specialy for winding up yarn or similar things. You wrote you have a conveyor belt, in this case try to use P1300=0. You may try 1 (U/f with FCC) too. Maybe you should use P1310, if you have problems with the start of the conveyor belt. But try to keep it aslow as possible, it will heat up your motors. Make shure P1335 (slip compensation) is switched off (0) With P1300=0 or 1 you don't need P1340,P1341,P1345,P1346 and P1350.

With two different motors it may be impossible. When entering the motor data into the inverter just use the data on the motor lables (Voltage , Speed, Cos phi) but I think wou will have to double the values for Current and Power. Make shure the motors are wired in the same kind (star, triangle) and the coresponding motor data is entered into the inverter.
