Hi, We are implementing a 412-5H based hardware redundant system (architecture attached). In the ET200 based IO rack, two IM 153-2HF modules (model # 6ES7153-2BA10-0XB0) are mounted using bus module 6ES7195-7HD10-0XA0. For mounting the IO modules in this rack, is IO bus module, 6ES7195-7HB00-0XA0 compulsory? Cant we use S7 300 simple bus connector, 6ES7390-0AA00-0AA0 to couple the IOs? (hot swapping of SM is not essential for us) Also can we use rack, 6ES7390-1AJ30-0AA0? Hello KB; The screenshot you posted earlier as a pdf is a good hardware configuration for a redundant ET 200M station on a S7-400H system. This subtitled video will show you how to connect the two separate IM 153-2 interface modules of the redundant ET 200M station to a S7-400H system. Notice the position of the dipswitches on the IM 153-2 to select the Profibus addresses of each, and you can catch a glimpse of the active bus modules behind the I/O modules on the special redundancy rail. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJbI_NqFJ_o Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |

New question published by AutoGen_7123414 is split to a separate thread with the subject connect S7-412-5H with ET-200SP with IM-155-6 . Best regards |
