The terms PZD (German initials for "Process Data") and PKW (German initials for "Parameter Values") are used in the description of the ProfiDrive profile; in other words, they are part of the description of communications between a CPU and a drive, using Profibus or Profinet.

- PKW is a seperate area designed for the reading and writing of single parameters on the drive; it is operted acyclically, which means you must use DP_RDDat (SFC_15) and DP_WRDat (SFC 14) functions to transmit the information between the controller and the drive..
