Hi All,

I need help tuning the temperature controller for the Steam valve. I am using FB41 as a PID block for the Steam control valve.

I am facing a problem while tunning PID. Suppose theSet point is 120my temperature goes up to124 and downside 116. I have obeser the action of PID output whenPV goes above Set Point e.g 121 then PID starts taking actionsame for down side when PV goes down below Set Point the PID starts Taking action.

I need PID to start taking action when PV starts reaching the Setpoint. Please help me whether  I am missing something or need to use FB58 [ Temperature Controller ].

One more question Will FB58 work in S7-1500? or suggest the PID for the S7-1500 Controller?

Hi everybody,

I've got a problem with the PID control FB41.
Sometime my output value goes to 0 for one cycle...
All my input value are OK: SP / PV / Gain / Ti, etc...
No COM_RST / MAN_ON value.

My controler: 315-2DP
FB41 is calling every 1 sec (OB32).
Just see attached file.

Please upload your project here, specifically the part regarded PID controller, I guess you have a parameterization problem.
