When an input is configured as a PTC, the manual says on page 26 for the Address Space Assignment, IB x+1 Bit 0 - Measured temperature below(0)/within(1) the response range Bit 2 - Measured temperature outside(0)/within(1) the prewarning range. I don't think I understand what these bits mean in terms of the operation of a PTC when it crosses its temperature threshold. And I also don't know how to read the graph used to describe the state changes of these bits (especially as the X-axis isn't labeled or clearly described). I think that maybe the graph is read in terms of temperature from right to left, and the bit values of IB x+1 are: Normal Range (Well below threshold temp): 0000-0000 Prewarning Range (Approaching threshold temp): 0000-0100 Response Range (Above threshold temp): 0000-0001 Can someone confirm if my understanding is correct? |
