Hello everyone,

I am experiencing a technical issue with my Unified Comfort 1200 panel. Specifically, I am unable to command my PLC variable with my HMI. To troubleshoot the problem, I added the segnalation view to monitor for any potential issues.

The error message I am encountering is: "Computer1 (ucp EC1 C5D42A79E): PLC certificate untrusted, manual trust is impossible for - ucp EC1C5D42A79E."

I have already taken some steps to resolve the issue, including updating the HMI OS to 18.0.0.4 (The HMI in TIA is at 18.0.0.3), generating a new PLC certificate and synchronized date and times.

Hi,

The message indicates that the certificate comparison failed. After a certificate change (triggered by e.g. HW change), you must recompile and then reload all affected devices (PLC/HMI). Have you downloaded to both devices after creating a new valid certificate?

Since you have synchronized the date and time of the PLC and HMI, I understand that they currently match, right?

I followed your instructions,and i fixed the certificate problem". Unfortunately, i encountered an other error (In the image, part of the error is in italian but i translated it).

The error message is:
"Authentication failed, incorrect or missing password - Open aborted due to invalid state of S7PlusConnection. Error code = 2739764173734739990"

I am already logged into the HMI using a user with the following roles:
- HMI Operator
- HMI Monitor
- HMI Administrator

Could you please provide some guidance on how to resolve this issue?

I have fully access with fail-safe
Yes to access the PLC i have pasword

I tried to put Fully access instaed of fully access with fail-safe and now it works!!!.

I tried Bic0 solution with Fully access, but it didn't work.

Error Message on PLC: Security event: Session authentication not successful

Error Massege on HMI: Legitimation failed, invalid or missing password

Using TIA Portal 17, PLC is 1510SP F-1 PN 2.9, HMI MTP1000 Unified Comfort Panel

The certificate is not expired, tried changing the setting “Only allow secure PG/PC and HMI communication”, user roles, always rebuild and download PLC and HMI, etc.

Even if you make a new certificate, or you don't want a secure connection at all (you just want to have communication between your PLC and HMI), the solution is to remake the connection in the Hardware configuration between the HMI and PLC, compile, and download to both devices.
