I have done the several times before, on the system with no problems. Procedure is to close down project on server 2, duplicate from server 1 to server 2. Start Server 2 again. Today when I was closing down server 2, the shutdown stopped. So I restarted the server, with autostart disabled. The I tried to duplicate from server 1, but got an error message when doing so. Tried several times, no luck. And I am not able to start the project on server 2 either. I have tried following: - Restarted Server 2 several times. - Run reset_Wincc, following a restart of server. - Tried to start project in WinCC Explorer without starting runtime. When I try to duplicate I get an error. I see in the diagnostic file CCProjectDuplicator.txt the timestamp and the text - Parameter "command" missing. When I try to start the project in WinCC Explorer I get the message that the servers is not running, start server locally. Or nothing happens at all, but in status bare is says "Project is opened" and WinCC Explorer is total unresponsive. Any suggestions to troubleshoot this issue? WinCC 8.0 Upd 5 Thanks

AutoGen_9381505 Joined: 9/12/2023 Last visit: 3/19/2025 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi, Did you try to stop SQL Server on Server2, delete its project completely and then restart the PC again. Try then to duplicate a fresh copy from Server1.

When trying to duplicate from Server 1 (running) to Server 2 (stopped and closed project), I get the duplication error, and the same error in the logs. But if Server 1 is also stopped and closed, the duplication works fine. According to the manual, if the source server is running, it should only copy the configuration data and ignore the runtime data, but it seems that it's not doing that. thanks!

Jesper_TIC Joined: 12/1/2022 Last visit: 8/13/2025 Posts: 20 Rating: (0)	Hi Christian As I remember this issue, I made a service request. And we ended up deleting the entire project on server 2, and duplicate it from server 1 again. But I would also suggest you make a service request.
