I use wincc 7.3, i am create tag logging and alarm logging, the question is :

1. how much size the database SQL can handle?

2.example SQL database is max 100Mb, what happen when it reach 100Mb?it will create new file automaticly? or replace current database file?

3.how calculate the size of my tag logging? example I have 5 tag logging and 5 alarm logging?

4. is there another way automaticly export SQL database to excel or pdf for spesic time, example once a week?

please help me, i want learn about wincc, thank you

1- The database configuration must follow the following guidelines to ensure the proper functioning of the software and access to archived data:

     - Total number of segments between Tag Logging (Fast + Slow) and Alarm Logging of 200 segments. You can check this by counting the files inside the 'ArchiveManager' folder. Each file would count as a segment.
     - Maximum size of each segment is 2 GB.


2- If you reach the limit, the database and the entire project in general will suffer a general loss of performance.


3- There is no mathematical formula to know that data, but it all depends on the type of data and the frequency with which you store it.


4- To do that, you can use WinCC Data Monitor.
