do anyone know if there is a good simulator to see if there is a good link/communicationto the plc?

The error code you are reporting would suggest that you are using Modbus TCP (with a 343-1 or 443-1). I believe that modscan32 is only for serial modbus (over RS232 / RS485). You require a modbus TCP simulator. The one you need will depend if the PLC is client (master) or server (slave). The two I have used in the past are:- The server simulator is a program called Mod_RSSim and is free. The client simulator is a program called Simply Modbus TCP Client and costs a small amount for the full version. There is a demo version that you can download for free. |
