Hello,

im working on a project where i have to sent 8 sensor readings from the arduino side of the IOT2040 to node red. i dont know how to do it because im new to this, so any help would be appreciated.

I never used IoT2040 but with the help of Arduino and esp8266, I was able to monitor as well as control the data via node red using MQTT node and Serial node.

Hi,

there is a other method to share data between Node-red and c++ program:

Shared memory.

It works very fast and this is the how:

Node-Red <-> Shared memory <-> c++ program

Node Red writes to shared memory and the c++ program read in loop from shared memory

and vice versa.

If you need this, I can provide the Node-red nodes and c++ part.

But you must link a system library to your c++ program .

Linking system library to Arduino programs isn't possible.
