Hi all, I have CPU 1513-1PN and I want to use Iba for data aquisition. In the past I have successfully connected to CPU 300 and 400, but now with 1500 I have a little problem. In attachment I'm sending a print screen to be clearer. The CPU in HW configuration in the PLC progam is in Rack 0 and slot 1. I don't know why in iba it says that I have in slot 0 CP. I'm directly connected from the PC to the CPU. When I try the same with CPU 300 I don't have any problems, the iba is connected immidiatly. Does any one has info why this is happining to me? Thanks in advance, ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hello drozerce your ibaPDA version is at least 2 years out of date, but if it is more than 3 1/2 years out of date you have a version that doesn't yet support S7-1500 connections (bear in mind S7-1500's haven't been around for that long). Either way, I suggest you get in touch with your nearest iba Office who can assist you in obtaining the latest versions which also adds a dedicated "TCP/IP S7-1x00" connection mode among plenty of other enhancements that you wouldn't want to be without. |
