Hi, if your hardware translation form mA to V is correkt, then it can be that you have 2 cases: 1 The sensor sends 0 mA to 20 mA or 2 the sensor sends 4 mA to 20 mA In the first case you have to set the amplifier (0..10V or no sensor): 0 V--> 0 mm and 10,00 V --> 5700 mm (GAIN = 5,7 and OFFSET = 0) But nn the other case you have to set the amplifier (0..10V or no sensor):2 V--> 0 mm and 10,00 V --> 5700 mm (GAIN = 5,7 and OFFSET = 0) because 2,00 V is corresponded with 4 mA! To calculate GAIN and OFFSET please look at my answers at "Scaling Question" The EXCEL-file ther helps to calculate the values. Finaly you can test the input values and the translation witha verry smal program: analog input - amplifiver_1 (Gain = 1; OFFSET = 0) - amplifiver_2 (GAIN = 7,13; OFFSET = 1425) AND a textbox to show the values of the two amplifivers: 1. value 0 (200)..1000 2. value 0..5700 I hope you can measure correct values..
