You will need to install the DIGSI 4 software in order to configure and operate the Siprotec relays. It is a licensed software, but Siemens offers a Trial download for DIGSI 4, fully functional for 30 days; once the trial license expires, you are expected to purchase the full license from your nearest Siemens distributor.

Each relay model is used to protect different parts of the power grid and has its own spcific design. You will need to download the manual for the relay you wnat to control (use the search box at the top of this page, with the part number of the relay as a search term) for more informgion, and you will need to look up th device driver for the communication link you want to install on this relay (they are available on the download link above).
