Failed to load project to the device

vindeg Advanced Member Joined: 5/26/2012 Last visit: 8/18/2023 Posts: 6 Rating: (1)	I have created a configuration of a PC with WinCC Rt Professional and IE general. When I compile and transfer to a shared folder to the target PC, I get an error "Failed to load the project to the device." Type of transfer: File PG/PC interface: File system Destination path: (Shared folder path) During the compile and load process, the project files are being transferred to the shared folder on the target PC containing a .mcp file amongst others, however a .mcx file is not being created there. On the engineering PC I can run the simulation which then proceeds to the RT. A runtime .mcx file was been created, which I can run directly from the runtime on the engineering PC. However if I copy the files to the target PC, the .mcx files does not load on runtime. I have verified that the runtimne on the target PC actually works, when I compiled a copy of the project from a TIA installed on the target PC. What should I be looking after to get the project to load? I am using; WinCC Professional V11 SP2 update 4 Step7 Professional V11 SP2 update 4

Thanks again for the response.
