Hello, I experiance boot failures when using Swissbit SD-cards. I have tried two cards both show the same error. I can sucessfully boot when using a Sandiks Ultra SD-card. All my cards are 8 GBytes large and have speed class 10. I attach a log file that show the serial consol output during the failing boot process. Could somebody please advice how to figure out what is the reason for the boot failure. Is there a list of supported / recommended SD-cards? The manual does not give much insight. It only states that a sd-card for industrial applications shall be used. I would prefer to use the Swissbit SD-cards as they are apparently more robust. Any help is much appreaciated. thank you very much Stefan AttachmentIoT2040_boot failed Swissbit card.txt (526 Downloads) |

You are right. After I added the option rootdelay=1 the boot process succeeds. Thank you very much for your fast and helpful answer. I add a log file that shows the successful boot process. This might be helpful for others that see similar problems. Stefan Attachmentiot2040_boot_ok_swissbit.txt (564 Downloads) |
