ozzi-pl Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hello , I have a problem with my servo drive. Iwant control my drive, in my program I have a MC_POWER and MC_MOVERELATIVE ist this ok to move the drive? I want only move drive on x positin withy speed. Thanks for help and sorry for mylanguage ;)

OlafS1 Experienced Member Joined: 6/1/2006 Last visit: 10/11/2024 Posts: 129 Rating: (14)	Hello ozzi-pl, if you want to move your servo axis to a given position you would need to use MC_MoveAbsolute instead of the MC_MoveRelative. difference between MC_MoveAbsolute and MC_MoveRelative is that the Relative version moves the axis further by the given increments regardless where the axis is right now. While MC_MoveAbsolute moves the axis regardless where it is right now to the given position. For Example: Your axis is right now at a position, lets say 1000. MC_MoveAbsolute(Position := 500, Velocity := 5000) moves the axis to the position 500. In this case backwards. MC_MoveRelative(Position := 500, Velocity := 5000) moves the axis 500 increments further down the line. This puts the axis at position 1000 + 500 = 1500. I hope that helps
