Is s7-400h is better than 1517h?

Yet, there are no much information on S7-1500H. Even the conference tag is still S7-1500.

I will try to answer according to answers I already have from Siemens and also according to my experience with H systems compared to what I read in S7-1500H manual.

3- As far as it seems and as far as real redundancy is concerned, the answer is YES.

I recommend if you tell me your project requirements then we can discuss what fits you more and what's better for your application.

If processing speed really matters then S7-1500H will be better than most of 400H controllers.

About the questions 1 and 3.

3 - This sentence about which CPU is better than other some times is a mistake. If you Just compare memory , Scan time , time for processing an operation (Float or Not) and etc... Probably you will find one more performatic than other, but the key point is which CPU is more indicated for my application.

As 1500 H is new system SIEMENS is promoting 1500H.
