Let's assume you assigned the input address to start at 1000.

That means for hub mode (I think) - (from page 4 of pdf), you get the following memory mapping:

IB1000 : bit-mapped I/O Status
IB1001 / IB1002 / IB1003 : Gross weight
IB1004 : bit-mapped Scale status
IB1005 / IB1006 / IB1007 : Net weight

Depending on how you configure NetWeight tag, you may need to swap byte order

Byte order 1:

NetWeight := 16#0000_0000; // DWORD = 4 bytes
//NetWeight.%B3 := 16#00;
NetWeight.%B2 := IB1003;
NetWeight.%B1 := IB1002;
NetWeight.%B0 := IB1001;

Byte order 2:

NetWeight := 16#0000_0000; // DWORD = 4 bytes
NetWeight.%B0 := IB1003;
NetWeight.%B1 := IB1002;
NetWeight.%B2 := IB1001;
//NetWeight.%B3 := 16#00; 

Once you see the answer from one of the above, you will know whether byte-order needs swapping.

There are other ways to accomplish the task, but this has the benefit of visually explaining the process without needing additional comments (or greatly reduces it).

Hey, i am looking for help on implementing a Rice Lake SCT-2200 fieldbus module into one of my programs on TIA Portal. I have located the GSDML file and installed. I am just down to the programming at this point. I have the setup manual from rice like that lists the registers and the descriptions of the values. I am having trouble understanding how i should bring my weights into the program, they are made of three bytes with the first byte being MSB and the third byte being LSB. Also if there is any other info on implementing this scale in my program that would be much appreciated. I attached the fieldbus setup guide from rice lake.
