Hello, Im having trouble with my alarm control on a unified panel with tia V17, on the HMI the alarm control is completely empty without text on the columns or on the numbered rows, and when a alarm is triggered a row blinks white and red but there is no text shown, i have tried several things, chaning the hmi language, creating a new alarm control, changing settings, etc.

I also tried simulating the panel on my pc, connected to the PLC, and both the original and the new alarm controls are shown as expected, with text and all!

what gives? am i missing something between my panel and my plc, could there be some kind of certificate error?

My panel is a MTP1200 with V17.0.0.0.

A colleague also loaded this same project on a 7 inch panel with v17.0.0.4 and it worked normally in the office

I will try loading the latest firmware on the panel tomorrow and see if that makes a difference.

I have never experienced that behavior, it's very strange.

If that behavior appears only within a specific TIA Portal project, I would follow the steps from the following FAQ.

That IM folder contains files that often get corrupted and malfunctioning may appear during runtime.

If that behavior appears also even if you create a new blank project with a new alarm control, I would install last updates for TIA Portal V17 and the i would update also the panel image version to V17 upd4.
