Analog Modules that support I/O Redundancy

Hello experts,

I was configuring a 412-5H PLC with I/O redundancy using ET 200M (6ES7153-2BA10-0XB0) in Simatic Manager V5.6. But the Analog module in hand is 6ES7331-1KF02-0AB0. In Hardware configuration, this module doesn't have a "Redundancy" tab in "Object Properties". So i assume this analog module won't support I/O redundancy. Is it so?

When i searched forum for analog modules that support I/O redundancy, i found this page-

this page lists only one analog module with 13 bit resolution as I/O redundancy capability. That too is a fail safe module. Is this my only choice?

I am looking for a 13 bit resolution Standard Analog module with I/O redundancy support

please guide me how to achieve redundancy with my analog modules in hand. (6ES7331-1KF02-0AB0)

dear Draacula,

there is no redundant analog module in H-System, or redundant mode in 'priority table', just insert the module in the ET200 and it's done, in attachment a picture for a configuration.

the redundant option is available for some modules. (please find the attached photo).

and by your logic, if there are 10 numbers of ET200M with a many analog modules in it, how will the analog module identify it's redundant pair?

At first, you must select the Find tab as attached image (No 1 in the Picture).

in the new window select the module that you want to assign it by Redundant. (No 2 in the Picture).
