If so, which make and model do you plan to use? You might want to look at wireless systems, sometimes the wired connectors can be a problem to connect to a PLC. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier

Romasxp Experienced Member Joined: 8/13/2015 Last visit: 12/4/2024 Posts: 87 Rating: (6)	Regarding MPG - you can connect it as regular encoder to two Hi speed inputs configured as up-down counter. Configured as quadrature (AB-phase) inputs. Some info there. BTW MPG can be with Hi level outputs (up to 24V), low voltage 0-5V or differential RS485 level. Depending on this you need to select corresponding input module/PLC. All other things/connections depends on used hardware which is not mentioned.
