Hello havoc; are you arware that the part nuimber you have given is for a RAM Card? You cannot (or do not have to, ctually) use the "Load user program on memorycard" instruction on a RAM card; and of course the "Copy RAM to ROM" instruction is not useful in this case. You can have an overview of the memory concept of the S7-400 CPUs in the following links, if it helps: How can I get an overview of the S7-400 memory concept? https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/fr/en/view/7302549 Which memory cards can you use with a S7-400 CPU? https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/fr/en/view/73159687 Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |

Hello dchartier; I’ve read the article and it is saying that the RAM memory is an extension for the CPU. I have the same memory cards [6ES7952-1AM00-0AA0] with [6ES7 412-5HK06-0AB0] CPU, the first download is being performed well, but when I’m trying to update some function, I couldn’t download it to the CPU and I’m receiving the same message [(8301) Insufficient memory space or work memory on the module]. I would like to ask, is there any way to edit the memory space in the CPU, or any other solution to finish testing and commissioning with this memory card? I’ve attached the screenshots for this operation. Thanks in advanced. AttachmentS7-400 Memory.pdf (591 Downloads) |
