Hello Karthik; There is no definite specific limitations on the number of loops you can program, at least for the integrated (basic) PID functions, such as th SFB 41 "Cont_C". The limit can be evaluated based on the available memory in the CPU (work and load memory), the number of DBs that it can handle simultaneously, the update cycle you choose for the control functions (it will depend on the process time of the loops you want to control), the ampount of procesing required for the other functionnalities in your program, etc.....
