Hello cruiz; I've been looking at your issue since I saw your post, it is intriguing, to say the least. There seems to be no Modbus mapping document available for the Mag 8000 on any of the sites i have looked at. The closest document I found is the following: Modbus PDM file for Mag 8000: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/24999116 and I can't say how much it will help you, it shows all the available parameters but not the modbus addressing. I have not integrated the file in PDM so I can't say how much it will help. Now, about the use of the Mag 6000 mappings with a Mag 8000 flowmeter, I would be suspicious that the mappings would match. The Mag 6000 RS-485 Modbus add-on card is a FDK:0855U0234 module. The Mag 8000 RS-485 Modbus add-on card is a FDK:087L42113 module. The part numbers are just different enough to be careful. The best suggestion I could give now is either to contact the Siemens rep who sold you the Mag 8000 and request the specific Modbus mapping from him, or use the PIA site to ask Siemens directly: https://pia.khe.siemens.com/index_battery-operated-11053.htm Sorry I can't do more, Daniel Chartier |
