Master CPU 414-5H in Rack0 (6ES7 414-5HM06-0AB0 ) breakdown with blinking LED (INTF, EXTF, REDF etc). Diagnostic buffer:

Hi, Recently, a pair of old CPU 412-H were replaced with new CPU 414-5H PN/DP on site. (1 month only) The existing backplane was not replaced and still in use. (No-6ES7400-2JA00-0AA0, SVPE8267718) After replacement, both CPU were running fine in Redundant mode with no fault and the plant has been continuously running for roughly one month. CPUA was Master(Rack-0) and CPUB was Standby(Rack-1) before the following incident. But suddenly this incident happened: CPUA Master(Rack-0) --> CPUA became failure and All LEDs Flashing at same frequency & CPUB became Master (Standalone) Time Stamps Below for reference: CPU Defective time --> (01:14:41.524 AM 11/24/2018) Switchover of master CPU and standby CPU --> (01:14:41.524 AM 11/24/2018) DEFECTIVE: STOP not possible --> (01:14:41.524 AM 11/24/2018) Master CPU: Change from redundant mode to solo mode --> (01:14:41.524 AM 11/24/2018) Please find attached the Diagnostic file and some pictures taken right after the incident. It would be very much appreciated if information can be provided. What could be the root cause of this and how to avoid it from happening again? hi Prakash_Chennai, start a Support-Request to contact Siemens direcly. They can read out the coding information from diagnostic-buffer. regards, |
