WHEN I CARD INSERT IN USB-PROMMER FIELD PG IT GIVE MESSAGE THE MMC DEFECTIVE HOW CAN I REPAIR IT..???? THANKS REGARDED

Actually you can do it by yourself if you have another MMC which is exacедн the same - then you should make it's image and record this image to spoiled MMC. BEWARE - on doing something wrong you can spoil another MMC - so the best is to contact with Siemens!

See this quote from a Siemens FAQ on MMCs: Do not use the MMC for non-SIMATIC purposes and do not format it with a third-party device. This would possibly overwrite the internal structure of the MMC that cannot be restored. In this case, the MMC is no longer recognized/accepted in a SIMATIC S7-300 CPU and can no longer be used with SIMATIC devices. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/21829579 The simplest solutionn seems to be a new MMC purchase. MY LOCAL SIEMENS REPRESENTATIVE IS SAYING IT WILL NOT REPAIR BUT THEY HAVE IN STOCK.... THANKS REGARDED
