Hello sussac; Here would be the quick and simple reply: any fault detected on a CPU in a H-system, on the remote I/O channels or in the fiber-optic cables dedicated to redundancy on a S7-400H will provoque an immediate switchover (change of active primary CPU to the stand-by). This is explained in the following manual, which you should study and keep near you when wiorking with a S7-400H system: SIMATIC Fault-tolerant systems S7-400H (V6.0) https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/us/en/view/82478488 The extracted screeshot below comes from that manual. Other automation sites discuss Siemens issues, this article might be interesting: https://control.com/thread/1026176237#1026176237 Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
