[quote user="Dolf"]How can I read out the position and preset the encoder connected to a CPU 313C-2DP? Hardware Config in S7 is no problem. CPU – 313-6CF03-0AB0 Encoder - 6FX2001-5xPxx Connected to Profibus Hi Dolf, Please check if you have the right GSD-files GSD files of cycle synchronous Profibus encoder 6FX2001-5xxx with Profibus DP When you place the Encoder on the Profibus DP, you have to parametrize the right SSI-encoder in the free slots of the just placed encoder. For example a "Version 2.2 Multiturn", but thats depending on the x's in the MLFB 6FX2001-5xPxx. Then you have to look in the Parameter Assignment of the type you have placed. When thats ready then load the CPU with the hardware and look on the addresses you see on the placed type what happens. |
I hope that the answer will help, if you have still questions, don't hesitate to ask me. |

Thanks Late, The hardware configuration was not a problem; I see change in the data from the encoder when I turn the encoder axis. In the meantime i have use the MM440 communication as an example. I make a function for communication with the Class 2 multiturn encoder 6FX2001-5xPxx, and it is working well now. See also the example program. AttachmentClass_2_Enc.zip (430 Downloads) |
