Replacing CPU 414- 2 DP With CPU 412- 2DP

samikhan Regular Member Joined: 9/26/2011 Last visit: 9/9/2022 Posts: 24 Rating: (0)	Dear Friends, I have a CPU 414-2DP (414-2XG04-0AB0) which got damage i don't why. CPU's all LED Lights are Flashing continues. i've recycle the power, remove the memory card and cold restart the CPU but with no result. Now i realize that the CPU is faulty which can't be repair. now i have the CPU 412-2DP (412-2XJ05-0AB0). I want to know that can i replace CPU412 with CPU414. i have check in hardware configuration where i can see the replacement option for CPU414 showing the list whitch contain CPU412. If i change the CPU Type to CPU412 then should i have to change more settings???????

As a precaution, I would check the settings but still (possibly synonymous connections in NetPro). Greetings, Towome

samikhan Regular Member Joined: 9/26/2011 Last visit: 9/9/2022 Posts: 24 Rating: (0)	Hi, I've change the CPU type to 412- 2 DP in HW configuration. after that CPU's "I ADDRESSES" in HW Configuration was differ than the old CPU. So i change all Device's Diagnostic Addresses according to the new CPU. the i Compile, Save and download to the target system. But CPU operating mode set to stop after run light blinks for few seconds. I've check CPU's Diagnostic Buffer but did not understand the Error. for reference see the Diagnostic buffer file. Hi Ali, Last time i've try the same as above. after that plc starts to run mode but without any digital OUTPUT. on the bus(MPI) i have HMI which is also communicating with PLC and shows data which is good. The stations (100-106) will be power up after i get an output from plc. i download OB121, OB122, OB85. attached pics are for HW. Attachment HW_Config_ONLINE.jpg (1063 Downloads)

(124,98,122,......) please OB88 download to cpu then you should be check CPU diagnostic buffer and send for me I think you have problem in OB35 , I need all network in OB35 Hi, These stations(100-106 and 98) will be powerup when i get an output from plc which is not available. The stations 120, 122, 124 are offline but i don't know why. I will copy OB35 to the text file then will be upload.
