The "Create/update block icons" option is used to create or overwrite any block icons present in the picture. If properties of a block icon were initialized beforehand (e.g.,SAFE_ID1, SAFE_ID2), they will be reset to the default values during a subsequent OScompilation if the "Create/update block icons" options is still enabled.To avoid having to reenter these properties, disable the "Create/update block icons" option,if necessary, during OS compilation, or connect the previously initialized block icons in the Graphics Designer to the process tag (Dynamic wizard, "Connect faceplate to process tag" default dynamic).

I cannot find this dynamic wizard in my graphic designer.[:mad:]
