I made few changes in few CFCs recently and tried to download them to AS. Download failed and recieved the error message saying that total communication jobs configured exceeds the maximum permitted 600. Configured jobs are 1353, whereas AS is configured for 1800 jobs. (Well it shows 1800 in HW Configuration, but in error message it says only 600 are permitted). I know I can download thecode/HW configurationagain and get rid of this message, and it will reset the maximum permitted jobs to 1800. But I am curious that what causes this to happen and how do I avoid this happening in the future? It's a 416-3 DP 6ES7 416-3XL04-0AB0 Version 4.0.0. on PCS7 6.1. Is it worth updating the firmware to 4.1.1? (of course it's worth it, but will it prevent this from happening again?) PS: We had a power failure few months back, and since then nothingis downloaded to the AS. Is it possible that this is related to the power failure we had? Attachmentmahooserror.zip (218 Downloads) |

Hello massad, I don't have experience withsuch problembut It seems you are not the only one whosuffered fromit. CPU 416-2DP download error. CPU 416-3DP V5.0.3, COMMUNICATION JOBS ERROR . Communication Jobs error message. It seems that power failure is the reasonbut I'm just wondering how the 600gets to be your communication jobs limitsince your CPU has a defaultlimit equaling the maximumlimit which is 1800. Try upgrading the firmware and see if it gets any better in the future. Have you checkedthe CPU life cycle recently Best regards. H-H |
