Muthu Posts: 17 Rating: (2)	Hi all, As per the SIEMENS standard, (4mA) 0 counts quals to 0% (20mA)27648 counts equqls to 100% But i am getting 20mA- 27639 only.Can any body give some information,why the counts is not correct. Is there any problem in wiring. or is there any problem in card. thank u

neo Posts: 264 Rating: (59)	Hello Muthu, I think you have the Problem of exactness of the measure, analoginputcard or the measurement device. 27639 units are 19,99479167 mA Don´t you think so? best regards...

Mushu Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hi Muthu, the analog cards have an error (check in the specifications of your card), but you have to add the error due to the instrument, to the amplifier, to the cable, your multimeter, ... What I do: I use my own scale function, and then I measure the readings with a calibrated multimeter. I use these numbers (at 4mA and at 20mA) to scale the analog. Ususally I put these numbers in the HMI, so when the customer calibrates the instruments, they can modify them. I hope I helped you.
