SF error on my PM-E module

have almost same problem, after i download the program to the PLC i get an SF error on my PM-E module. notice that i have more than 5 same modules only this give the error.

(6ES7138-4CA01-OAAO). i check wiring seems to be fine, even i place an other module give same problem. When i run hardware diagnostics i get the message of possible couse off the problem.

there is a channel error

sensor or load voltage missing

system data differ

your saved version of the configuration differ from the one in the PLC

Can someone help me with this? ore how to check one of the above possible answers?

Is the power-LED on the powermodule on? check the voltage on the powermodule.

24 VDC is needed on the pins 2 or 6 and 0 VDC is needed on the pins 3 or 7.

Check also the manual for diagnostics:

Error type: 17D 10001: Encoder or load voltage missing

Meaning: Supply voltage not present or too low.

Remedy: Correct the process wiring. Check the supply voltage.

Hallo, thanks for your advice.

I recheck the wiring, i have 2 modules with same wiring, 24VDC on 2 and 0VDC on 3 also a bridge between A4 and 7. i remove the brigde and problem solve. i quess the wiring was made to conect the 0VDC in serial but not used.

Wire is ok, i conect an other same power module with and works fine. 

hope u have some answer ore what an where i can check. 

I will do hard ware diagnostics and snd it later on.

 hi mantos,

the AUX-clamps on the Terminalmodules(TM) are brigded to the next TM. Other TM´s are not connected to the left one. See page 9 of the manual "Usable Terminal modules"

When there is 24VDC on the AUX-clamps and you do a bridge to pin 7 (M) on the power module(PM), the supply of the PM is not correct.

Be sure to use the rigth TM with the rigth probertie to give the AUX-signal to the next module or not.
