SIWAREX FTA module Firmware

Replaced with new card SF got reset but error messages like Weighing command could not be executed". Further checked and found new card what we kept is of different higher firmware version. Is this could be a FW issue. Replaced card with another spare of same FW and worked fine. 1. Where can I get FW version 5.3.4 2. And link for SIWATOOL Thanks for the usual support Regrds, N Vijay

And link for SIWATOOL Thanks for the usual support 1:5.3.8 is the oldest available for download, if you need an older one, create a support request to Siemens. 2: Contact your Siemens rep, and buy the Siwatool, it's not available for download. But I would like to add some more information for you: I don’t recommend to use such an old firmware! The firmware V5.3.4 is more than 15 years old! I recommend you to use the latest firmware V9.5.3. But anyway, let’s take a look together to your error messages to find the issue. You can take a look into the Hardware-config of your Simatic Manager OR (and this is my recommendation): work with the Siwatool software (order-number: 7MH4900-1AK01). Pay attention, that you need also the Siwatool-cable between your computer and the Siwarex FTA module with the order number 7MH4702-8CA. Also, when your computer has no RS232 port, then you need also an USB/RS232-adapter. If so, I recommend you to use the USB/RS232-adapter of the company ATEN, model: UC-232A: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/28391503 Best regards Siwarexi
