HVAC drive control

Trindade Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	I have na F0002 error on a HVAC drive (6SE6436-2BD11-1CAD) and on manual the information is not enough to solve this problem.This error is always there and we cannot start the drive at all.Can anyone help me with this issue?Trindade

Tractor Gold Expert Joined: 3/27/2008 Last visit: 9/14/2025 Posts: 1216 Rating: (148)	I cannot recognise the complete part number, however it looks to be a small inverter and is IP20. I also assume this has been operating well for some time and has now failed. F0002 is an over Voltage at the DC link which can be caused by over Voltage at the supply terminals, if this is ok, and the F002 occurs while the motor is stationary then this may be contamination on the circuit boards. After making the unit safe, drop the small fan from the base of the unit and have a look inside. If this has contamination, dust or moisture then this may be the cause. The unit may be beyond economical repair, if the F0002 cannot be reset. I have made some assumptions here to help as quickly as I can. If I am on the wrong track completely; then post me back.
