Micromaster440 with Microwin32

saathiksyed Posts: 36 Rating: (0)	Dear all, I have Micro/win32 V3.1 software and Mircomaster440 drives. I would like to communicate with PLC and drives. I got information from thread, to communicate with drive should have ADD ON function libraries. My question is, If I buy SIMATIC STEP7 Micro/WIN ADD ON Function library V1.1(6ES7830-2BC00-0YX0) software in seperate CD. Does it work with MicroWIN32 V3.1?. what kind of cable for communication with PLC and M440?

Look at 6ES7830-2BC00-0YX0 product description : SIMATIC STEP7-MICRO/WIN ADD ON: INSTRUCTION LIBRARY V1.1 (USS + MODBUS), FOR STEP7 MICRO/WIN V3.2 AND STEP7 MICRO/WIN V4.0, ON CD-ROM, INCL. ONLINE DOCUM. Basicly if you want to get communication with MM4, this library is necessary. Look at USS instructions in STEP 7-Micro/WIN32 with MM4 drives (There you'll find all necessary information regarding cable, connection, parametization of drive...) Hope this will help in the future. regards
