It could be that the program stops, the most important thing is that there will be waited for a reaction onthe last action. So if the program is blocking then look why that is happening on the error bits and look if you don't try to start the next cycle when the last was not ready.

Staus of P_SND_RKis corerectand no errors.But whenI send set request to send thelightTXD is switch off. I use function 06 of Modbus. In hardware diagnostic in event Ican see error with driver dongle” Fxc8:0E05”.on CP341. Thank You or help.

dangerous Posts: 35 Rating: (1)	Hi barklino, judging from the error message you have described i'd say you have not got the plugable/loadable modbus dongle inserted into the bottom of the CP341 module. I take it you are using a CP341-2 module? If you power down and take the module out of the rack, turn it upside down and you will see a small socket where the plugable driver is to be inserted. This dongle is a separate item and costs between £500 (without disc) and £700 (with disc) for each one. Part Numbers are...6ES7 870-1AA01-0YA0 and 6ES7 870-1AA01-0YA1 respectively. Also refer to Siemens manual A5E00218410-04 for further details regarding the implementation of modbus communications on CP 341 and 441-2 modules, it includes all error codes. Hope this helps.

So Modbus could also be used behind PROFINET. PtP Param V5.1 incl. SP8 The following features were added: PtP-Param V5.1+SP8 can also be installed under Windows VISTA. With the new standard function blocks FB7 (P_RCV_RK) and FB8 (P_SND_RK), both in version V3.0, the CP341 can now also be operated behind an IM153-4 PN IO, if the latter is connected to a PROFINET port integrated in a CPU.
