I haven't had a chance to read the whole thread yet but I wanted to mention something but sharing code. There are things that pros do and include in their code that are not very technical and at the same time are quite variable.  I mentioned this a while back in reference to a code by William_B and the part that immediately attracted my attention was not the code but the way the tags were organized. And as simple as that was it such a time saver. So please share your code (that's not proprietary) and let us learn for the pros, We will see things in your code that you don't see.

 Kal, sharing code is GREAT and good but it has some side effects that are not unrelevant:

1) Newbies are not stimulated, so they start asking "how can I set a Bit ?" , "How do I open Hardware Configuration?".

2) Technical code is shared, so your know how is shared too. PLC programs might be advanced but there are some other environments like Simotion where many many things requires DAYS of testing and sharing them where people can copy and use them in 1 minute is sad... So sometimes people prefer to NOT share nothing because they are jealous.

3) Sharing the Method is one of the best thing, like you said you learn the variable organization. One other may learn the usage of FSM which is the most powerful thing of automation. Others may learn indirect addressing which is useful too...
