After trying some other methods(curl included), one colleague from IT department and I, managed to make an automated CSV file download to the PC with a powershell script, work. We use Windows 10. The idea is to use the script in order to cyclically download the file from the PLC to the PC with the help of task programmer. The PLC with which we made the tests is a 1211C AC/DC/Rly with 4.2 firmare and TIA16 project inside. l.e. I've just downgraded the firmware to 4.1 and still works well. The isue is that when I try to make the very same thing with the PLC from which we need data, it doesn't work. It has 4.1.3 firmware with TIA16 project inside. I am able to download the file directly from the browser, but when I try to download it with the powershell script I get a strange file. If I change the file extension from CSV to XLSX I am able to see the text from, what seems to be, the front page of the web server. If I maintain the file extension, It is all strange web text. I will attach a file with both images and the table with the right data. What I actually need to download is a table with data. The powershell script is this: $client = new-object System.Net.WebClient $client.DownloadFile(“http://192.168.123.123/FileBrowser/Download?Path=/DataLogs/file.csv”,“C:\tmp\file.csv”) Any idea what could make the web to server send me one file and not the other? Thank you! AttachmentFirmwareTIAversion.pdf (385 Downloads) |

Somehow I thought you had already done that. But, I am guessing they suggested you update to FW 4.4. |
