ok! thank you! But what if I will use the Micromaster inV/f open-loop control Vector control, without encoder Servo control? It has to be possible if1PH6 107 4NG40 main Spindel motoris a AC induction motor withsquirrel cage rotor. The problem that I am faceing is to know if this motor can be driven like a regular AC motor with any tipe of VFD ,for me is not mandatory to run spindel motor like a servo with clossedloop control because the CNC software (Mach 3) will read the true speed of the spindel and ajust feeds and speeds over that readings. What is the number of poles of this motor? because if I calculate the pair of poles due to the rated rotational speed at the suposed ratedfrequency of 50 Hz the pair of poles RPM= (f * 60)/p => p =(50*60)/2000 => p=1.5 pair of poles which is not possible. |

Thank you Deputy! The motor is in a lathe cnc sistem is now connected to SIMODRIVE 611 (see picture below). I belive that the speed of the motor is controlled by a -10 to 10 V signal -10 to 0 for ccw rotation and 0 to 10 V cw rotation? is it possible to use the drive alone (I have the 600 v DC power supply connected) what are the conditions to run it alone without the Sinumerik computer and feed drives connected, use it like a regular VFD ( all motor, encoders , ptc termistor will be left as the producer made them). A detailed wireing diagram would be great, enable and control pins...etc Thank you Deputy! You deserve a old bottle of vine!
