440 and devicenet

I have never worked on a MM440 controlled through DeviceNet before, mostly I have used Profibus, but the basic terminology and control structure is quite similr, from the documents available:

Are you working wth a Controllogix controller, along with a DeviceNet adpter module 6SE6400-1DN00-0AA0 in the MM440?

i would suggest you start with the Application exanmple, it describes the different parameter selection (P1000 allows you to select the command source, P719 is for Control setpoint source selection, Binary connector (BICO)). The manual contains more detailed explanations if you require them.
