The software used is TIA 17 and the CPU is 1515T-2 PN. The input card allow the counter located on the 1st couple of input as described in the card documentation as you can see the enclosed picture. The issue I can't select the HSC on the TO as soon as I go calling the High speed counter block. I already had experience define HSC with 1200 and 1500 with on-board IO without facing any problem but this time with a separate card. is there anyone having tips for me? pigroplc Attachment config.PNG (208 Downloads)

Hint: Select the part # from the topic title, right-click - search the web, select first non-Ad or sponsored link - which for me is the Siemens Industry Mall. Also wach the youtube tutorial always mentioning onboard cases, not mine. Keep on searching.... Thank you pigroplc

This card has to be used via the control interface / feedback interface like described in the manual. Address space Counting mode Examples of counting Structure of the parameter data records Counting mode **EDIT** This is also stated in manual above. "You control the counting function via the IO addresses of the module. These IO addresses are also known as the control interface (output addresses) and feedback interface (input addresses), see section ."
