6ES7331-7KF02-0AB0- module problem

kalidasan Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	I'm using 6ES7 313-6CF03-0AB0 PLC (cpu 313C-2DP) with distributed i/o's through profibus IM-153-1 6ES7 153-1AA03-0XB0. i have connected 2AI8 modules(6ES7 331-7KF02-0AB0) in it. channels were configured as "D" - 2wire transducer for current measurement. But in my PLC program, i have configured the channels as 0-10V voltage. Now the problem is, When i give power to the distributed I/O, it works good without any problem for some days even months. But one day, there will be error in the IM-153 module. SF-LED is constantly on and BF-LED makes flashes. In such a case, If i change a new AI8 module, the problem is solved again. This repeats for a constant interval of time. I'm unaware. I dont know whether the module is getting failure or because of the channel configurationin the software i have made. If its because of the channel configuration of the module, then why there is no problem in the initial conditions.

What exactly you are doing during replacement of modules? What about the replaced module - is it OK or it is faulty? Did you check it?

I have the feeling that you are overloading the sensor supply somehow, or some other error that will destroy the measuring range module after a while. kalidasan Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	Hi, I'm using GF meters for measuring the PH. Apart from this a local level sensor. I dont know the name. I have attached the Manual for the GF meter. if i replace the new module it will work good for some days. Again it is going bad. Also i have sent these failed modules to siemens for service. They say me that a Chip inside the module has been damaged. When i ask the reason, they say may be due to more power. I asked them whether there was any problem in the input terminals. Hi, In addition to the questions mentioned by UMENCHO, Which type of hardware connection do you actually use between the analog module and the measured instrument (device)? 2-wire current measurement or 0-10 V? Did you mean that you configured the channels as 0-10 V through the hardware configuration? Why?

Connection should match the black bridge seetings as per manual and as per hardware configruration to let the module operate in its right way. More over in some cases, if you set the black square in wrong position, it will destroy the module. Please resvise the Module data. SIMATIC S7-300 S7-300 Module data I have no explanation for what happen in your case, but in the same time I do not like others to play same game with their 7KF02 modules as they may lose these modules. Hope this helps.
