i dont have 6GK7443-5DX05-0XE0 V7.1 in my HW CATALOG

i have only 6GK7443-5DX05-0XE0 V7.0 , i had been installed step7 v5.4 sp4 .

how i can find it in my HW CATALOG .

How to configure the CP 443-5 Extended (6GK7 443-5DX05-0XE0) V7.1.1
STEP 7 Version V5.5 SP1 and higher

STEP 7 Version V5.4 SP4 and higher: Configure the CP as firmware version V6.3 and higher.

STEP 7 Version V5.4 and higher: Configure the CP as firmware version V6.1

STEP 7 Version V5.2 SP1 and higher: Configure the CP as firmware version V6.0

can you make a screen what you have in the catalog?
From the entry i posted you should use the V6 or V7 CP from the catalog with your Step7 Version.

For V7.1 you need a newer Step7 Version.

The predecessor has the latest FW of 6.8!

V1.1 is not available for it!

but I think you had a tipping-error and you mean V7.1. 

What Christoph meant in his post is that you have to config it with an other FW, because Step7 5.4 is not supporting V7.1.

while i'm using step 7 v5.4 sp4 , i intalled all HW UPDATES but i didnt find 6GK7443-5DX05-0XE0 V7.1 .

according to what you said before the only solution is to update to step7 v5.5 ?

also if i used my current step 7 with a real card with 6GK7443-5DX05-0XE0 V7.1 it can cause aproblem ?

Hi,

why you don't read what other peoples wrote, or read the informations in the links which are provided?

With you step7 you can only create the V7.0 of the CP and work with it on a real CP with FW V7.1, this is no problem.

If you really need to create a CP V7.1, and not use the V7.0 whyever, then Yes you must update to Step7 V5.5, an!
