onatdogan Advanced Member Joined: 10/24/2016 Last visit: 11/2/2024 Posts: 57 Rating: (0)	Hello everyone I have a 6sl3210-5fb10-8ua0 model driver. I also have a servo motor with brake. I would like your help on where to connect the b+ and b- brake ends on the motor to the x8 socket on the driver.

Compatible motors with these drives are SIMOTICS S-1FL6 motors only. Which motor you want to connect? Please check its compatibility with V90 drive, refer SINAMICS V90 Pulse train, USS/Modbus, SIMOTICS S-1FL6 Operating Instructions manual for more details. P. S. - X8 is 50 pin socket for control/status interface & not for brake connection. Motor holding brakes are connected to X7 connector.

X7 is for 400V variant. Please refer attached snap of wiring of motor holding brake with external third party relay. Hope this helps. P.
