Hello, I have all options like wire break and so on UN-checked and still 7.4 Volt on every output. ?? Gr., Moose ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Dear moose, if its a output card with transistor outputs, this is "normal". Please check the manual of the card you use. In some manuals you can find informations that even with disabled wire break detection, a small current is available and also LEDs can light up. If a high-resistane measuring device is used, a voltage can be mesuared. There is also a FAQ for that. As an example https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/66912554/107286925963 Technical specifications of the DQ 8x24VDC/0.5A HF "Residual current for signal state "0"Due to the Diagnostics: Wire break function, there is a low level of residual current in the "0" signal state at the output, which may cause the display diodes to flicker. This residual current does not depend on the setting for the Diagnostics: Wire break parameter." ****EDIT**** Why is a voltage displayed at the outputs of S7-1500 input and output modules although these outputs are not addressed?"Even if the outputs of S7-1500 input and output modules are not addressed by the CPU and are not wired to other devices, a voltage of up to 7 V can be measured." regards sancruz |
