840d all plc led`s are shine

shams mehdi Advanced Member Joined: 11/3/2010 Last visit: 9/7/2022 Posts: 45 Rating: (1)	hello dear experts we have a cnc machine with 840d system control. a problem was occured that is all the plc led`s lamp are shine when we turn on the machine. i saw the notice that is allnck led`s lamp are in normal operation. what is your ideathis problem relate to hardware or software of 840d? if everyone can help me i wait for replies. regards shams

Check the below points. 1] Check the power supply 0V which goes to PLC ( There might be leackage Current) 2] Check the PLC Bit status in the OP 3] Remove the Wiring form the input module,except 0V and check.If still light glowes ,module isfaulty.

Ekalavya Posts: 2964 Rating: (484)	Hello, No it could not be confirmed like this whehter it is a hardware problem or software problem What is the alarm messgae you get on the screen i.e on OP and on NCU. Also check whether you PLC has gone to Stop Mode? Check whehter you MCP lights are flashing.... Details requried..... Regards, Ekalavya

I take a test to understand the ncu card is faulty or other modules. I take off all connectors to ncu card and then turn on the machine. then i saw these results: 1- all nc & plc led`s lamp were shine. 2- seven segment showed 0 & b periodic. regards shams
