acpi-upgrades-iot2000.cpio is invalid creating image

Hi,

I am trying to build my own image with the meta-iot2000-bsp layer following the instructions of the Readme. A customer is also trying to build his own image and it is not succeeding. Please, I need to help him, I need a clear way of how to build the image. The build failed and in the log says that acpi-upgrades-iot2000.cpio is invalid. What can be the problem? The steps I have followed are:

$ sudo apt-get install gawk wget git-core diffstat unzip texinfo gcc-multilib build-essential chrpath socat libsdl1.2-dev xterm

$ pip3 install kas

$ kas build meta-iot2000-bsp/kas.yml

Does retrying the build using the previous results help (probably not, but just to exclude sleeping dependency issues)?

Could you also provide /home/laura/build/tmp/work/iot2000-poky-linux/core-image-minimal/1.0-r0/temp/log.do_bootimg.13806 (or a corresponding newer version of that log)?

A workaround might be building inside docker (see README) - if the issue turns out to be related to the host distribution.

Ok, this could have actually been a dependency issue. I've pushed a fix to

We've run that branch successfully through a from-the.scratch build in our gitlab CI, so it builds in principle.

Looking at your config: /home/laura/meta-iot2000-jan-bootimg-dep-fix/meta-iot2000-bsp/meta-iot2000-bsp - that path seems to have meta-iot2000-bsp duplicated, likely by mistake.
